DRUM ROLL PLEASE ............ :-)

As you know, I started this blog because I had decided to try and become part of a CT (Creative Team). What that means is that I would be creating layouts for designers of digital kits/templates/etc. to promote the items the designers sell. Well, I applied to Simply Sweet Designs and I was picked to be a part of her CT!! Yeah me (and the other 7!)!! So here are the "Sweethearts" of Simply Sweet Designs:

You can click on the announcement above and it will take you to Kim's blog to read more about each one of the CT's. So be looking for my lo's to start showing off Kim's great items. If you are interested in seeing the adorable items she has for sale, head on over to scrapmatters ... or just click http://scrapmatters.com/shop/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=55 and you will see why I wanted to CT for Kim. :)

Here is the view we saw from Angle Island. I am not sure why the "stitching" is showing on the pictures. It doesn't show up in CS3. I was going to trim the pictures so that it had a smooth edge, but I started liking the jagged edges so I kept them. I have a big surprise to announce tomorrow ... I want to say it now, I but I better wait. ;) It will be "public" tomorrow ....

I saw this as we were going home from my conference. To the right of the hydrant is a guy working on it. He just didn't blend into the picture, so I cropped him out to get this neat shot of the water coming out. This picture was also taken as a portrait, but when I cropped the man out, I made it a landscape.
Oh my gosh, I did it again ... wrong blog! UGH! Well, instead of deleting enjoy. ;)

This page was started for the Tuesday Template challenge at scrapmatters. The right side was the template they gave away this week (click image for credits). I really like this page. It is looking more and more like the "style" I want to use. Not to mention it was a neat moment with Jim and Cassie. He wont' be able to life her up much longer. ;)

I am on a roll today.

Here is another page. This is when we landed on Angel Island. It sure was good to be on solid ground again. ;) I tried something new with this page. I liked the template, but don't know that I like it duplicated on both sides of the page ... what do you think? Hmmm, oh well. Another page is done! ;)

One more ...

Here is another page I finished today. It was the sights we saw along the way to Angle Island while on the boat. I used kmickus-onefineday kit.

Taking the Wheel

Here is the lay out I just finished. Cassie was able to steer the boat and boy did she take it seriously! Her face was so funny to watch. She was not going to run into any other boats on the water! ;) Click title for credits.

Heidi #9

While waiting at church one Saturday, I decided to take some pictures. Cassie was "helping" me as I was looking for fun shots of fall. Cassie picked up this leaf and said, "Mommy, this will make a good picture. It has a water drop too!". She was right! I played around in Lightroom with presets and came up with this. :)
I just realized I posted this on the wrong blog! Oppps! Oh well, it isn't a scrapbook page, just a great picture of Cassie's hand.;) Onto tripleshots ...

The puzzle is done!

I finished this lo tonight. This globe is Brianna's pride and joy. The puzzle lives on our mantel. It has never come apart and I don't think it ever will. ;)

This was a layout (lo) that I did yesterday at Scrapmatters speed scrap. Got it done in literaly 1:05 ... whew! ;) Obviously I am at the end of July 2007 when dad had his knee operated on. :)
