Summer Vacation

Well, the day is finally here. We are officially on Summer Vacation. Brianna started 5/25, my last day was 5/29 and Cassie's was today. Whew! It still hasn't hit home yet. :)  What is sad is that I have a feeling this summer is gong to fly by!  BUT I plan on making more memories with my girls.  Brianna only has 2 more years of school and off to college she goes {I am not going to cry, I will not cry **sobbing**} and next year Cassie starts Jr. High.  But, in the mean time ... Happy Summer Vacation everyone!! ♥♥

Hehe.  Ready for a timeless story from me?  Well, Since we are close to Mother's Day, I thought I would share my first Mother's Day gift ... a fax machine.  Yeah, super romantic. BUT, when I was pregnant with my first daughter, I was planning on gong back to work. After I had her, there was no way I wanted to send her to daycare. So Jim and I made the decision for me to stay at home with her.  For Mother's DAy, Jim bought me a fax machine so that I could do some type of work from home with Brianna.  Now it wasn't the most romantic gift, but it was one of the most thoughtful and meaninful gifts that I have received as a mother's day gift. :)

So, I messed up my neglected blog ... as you can see. I will be back soon with a new updated look from Traci Reed & Meghan Mulles!! Here is a peek at what you can expect: :):):)

IN the mean time remember the season ... we are not off of school for a week to celebrate a season, spring. We are off school because Jesus Christ died on a cross for me. And yes for you. But the most amazing part is that he rose from the grave and is alive today. We are taking a week off to celebrate the amazing and holy God who came to earth to die and save us. That same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, lives in us! So please don't forget ... it is not "spring break" that we have been celebrating. It is EASTER break!!!  Happy Easter everyone ... and thank you Jesus for all that you went through for me.
