Kim has done it again!

Once again Kim designed a beautiful kit. AS you can see, it is just in time for Christmas! The colors are rich on the paper and the elements just perfect! I personally love the ripped paper that is in here and the flower is amazing ... but those are my favorites! Head on over to Scrapmatters get the kit and let me know what your favorite pieces are! Here is a lo I created with this kit:

If you like the page, you can download it as a quick page. Just click image.

I pray you all have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Update

Well, here is another look at Bri's foot ... poor kid. BTW, the lines that you see on her foot are from the wrap she had around it all day. She is walking on it at home, or should I say limping on it. Then when she is out in public she still uses her crutches for safety reasons. BUT it is getting better! Yeah God!! ;)
Cassie on the other hand, has decided to join her sister in the klutz department. At church yesterday, she fell flat on her face. It took me awhile to get the story out. I couldn't understand how she landed on her nose/face. Well, when she tripped her hands were in her pockets and she couldn't get them out fast enough ... therefore she landed on her face. So right now her nose is a little swollen and black and blue. I tried to take a picture, but you couldn't really see the bruising. She also has a little rug burn on her bottom lip too. It is soooo not funny ... he, he. :) I keep praying that they don't take after me when it comes to being a klutz. ;) This is just a one time incident! He, he!!
Jim appears to be getting over the cold he has. He still has the cough and headache, but the ache in his lungs is going away. We have our Christmas production at church this weekend, so he needs to get better fast! I don't want him to wear out and get sick again. So keep him in your prayers. He has been busy doing voice overs, setting up the CD for music, etc, etc, etc. All the talented things that sound guys do, that we have no clue about. ;)
I have been busy at work with PE. One of the gals quit due to a knee injury, and the other gal is doing student teaching for 3 month starting Jan. So that leaves just me and 2 subs ... running from room screaming ... :) It should be interesting, but we can do it!! :) I have also started helping Suzette Allen in her studio. That has been a BLAST!!! I feel so overwhelmed, yet I am having so much fun! She is one of the most talented people I have ever met. Not to mention generous and kind. Both her and her husband Johny have been a lot of fun to get to know. I am praying that I will catch on quick so that I can get out of the "training mode" and really help them. :) IF you get a chance, check out her site www.suzetteallen.com and you can see why I love what she does. :)

Definate Sprain

Well, Brianna officially sprained her foot. The Dr. called today and confirmed that it was a sprain. Wednesday night the bruise that you see was about 1/3 the size of a tennis/baseball. It was weird looking and very painful. She is doing better today. She is actually putting a little weight on the foot ... so hopefully, she will get better quick. ;) I will say she has had a great attitude through ti all. I think she enjoys being spoiled and treated like a queen. :) God has been good through it all.

Sprained foot

Well, last night Brianna fell of some stairs at church and sprained her foot. I guess I should say we are 95% sure it is a sprain. We went to the Dr. today and had it xrayed. There is a shadow that she wasn't sure of. It could be a fracture, or it could be a shadow. We are waiting for the xray technicians to read the xray and get back to us. Poor Bri ... her left foot is blue along with her toes. When I brought her home last night, she had a lump on the top side of her foot about the size of 1/3 of a tennis ball sticking out. So, she is on crutches and in pain. She will be on crutches for at least a week. :( What a day ... I'll post a picture of her foot when I get a chance to upload it.

I am on Ikeagoddess blog!

O.k., so some of you might wonder what Ikeagoddess.blogspot.com is. Well, this lady in Germany, Angie, looks all over the world on the Internet for "freebies" related to scrapbooking every single day. So if a designer is giving away something free, if Angie likes the freebie, then she posts it on her blog. It has become a VERY popular blog. Most digital scrappers know who she is. Well, I did a quick page for Simply Sweet Designs (shown below) and Angie (ikeagoddess) posted my quick page on her blog!! That is a huge compliment not only to me, but to Kim who designed the kit that I made the quick page from! So I just had to toot my own horn! :) I am "famous" ... for today at least. ;)

Here is the view we saw from Angle Island. I am not sure why the "stitching" is showing on the pictures. It doesn't show up in CS3. I was going to trim the pictures so that it had a smooth edge, but I started liking the jagged edges so I kept them. I have a big surprise to announce tomorrow ... I want to say it now, I but I better wait. ;) It will be "public" tomorrow ....

I saw this as we were going home from my conference. To the right of the hydrant is a guy working on it. He just didn't blend into the picture, so I cropped him out to get this neat shot of the water coming out. This picture was also taken as a portrait, but when I cropped the man out, I made it a landscape.
Oh my gosh, I did it again ... wrong blog! UGH! Well, instead of deleting enjoy. ;)

This page was started for the Tuesday Template challenge at scrapmatters. The right side was the template they gave away this week (click image for credits). I really like this page. It is looking more and more like the "style" I want to use. Not to mention it was a neat moment with Jim and Cassie. He wont' be able to life her up much longer. ;)

I am on a roll today.

Here is another page. This is when we landed on Angel Island. It sure was good to be on solid ground again. ;) I tried something new with this page. I liked the template, but don't know that I like it duplicated on both sides of the page ... what do you think? Hmmm, oh well. Another page is done! ;)

One more ...

Here is another page I finished today. It was the sights we saw along the way to Angle Island while on the boat. I used kmickus-onefineday kit.

Taking the Wheel

Here is the lay out I just finished. Cassie was able to steer the boat and boy did she take it seriously! Her face was so funny to watch. She was not going to run into any other boats on the water! ;) Click title for credits.

Heidi #9

While waiting at church one Saturday, I decided to take some pictures. Cassie was "helping" me as I was looking for fun shots of fall. Cassie picked up this leaf and said, "Mommy, this will make a good picture. It has a water drop too!". She was right! I played around in Lightroom with presets and came up with this. :)
I just realized I posted this on the wrong blog! Oppps! Oh well, it isn't a scrapbook page, just a great picture of Cassie's hand.;) Onto tripleshots ...
